[an error occurred while processing this directive] My Trip to the Mayan Ruins of Mexico

I will be taking a vacation to visit the Mayan ruins of southern Mexico from September 9 to September 16, 2000. I have plans to visit some of the major sites (Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Palenque) as well as some of the less visited places (Kabah, Sayil, Labna, Chicanna, Becan, Xpujil, Coba). My actual destinations will depend on the Mexican bus system. During the trip I hope to be able to upload some digital pictures to this website. Check back often to see how I am doing and where I have been.

Map of the area

I will be landing in Cancun, Quintana Roo and plan to go immediately from there to Chichen Itza, Yucatan. Then I hope to visit Uxmal, Kabah, Sayil and Labna. Next, I will travel to Chiapas to visit Palenque (by the M in Mexico on the map below). Then, it is back to Campeche to visit Chicanna, Becan and Xpujil in the Rio Bec area. Finally, I will return to Quintana Roo to visit Coba, and perhaps Tulum. Everything depends on the availablility of seats on the different Mexican bus companies.
